Early in the morning
 Before the full sunrise,
I gaze out my window
 T'ward a small ground rise.

The trees and the earth
 A silhouette to see;
Display a perfect truth
 My Lord has given me.

The shadows of the earth
 Are dark and black as night.
It all seems quite foreboding
 For there isn't any light.

Shadows strive to dominate
 And blanket all in sight,
But the sun continues rise'n
 In its glory and its might.

All of God's creation
 Holds His glory on display;
Light and darkness cannot mix,
 There isn't any way.

Dark of sin could never stop
 Jesus, God's own Son.
Who gave his life for all our sin;
 The vict'ry has been won.

Now's the time to make a choice
 Between the light and dark.
God has sent his only Son
 To dwell within your heart.

It's your choice; you make the call.
 Know Jesus as your Christ.
Or choose to die in your own sin.
 Please, Grasp Eternal Life!
