I have never stopped for a moment to think I will one day celebrate Valentines Day,
Work took its toll to say,
Sitting down with the one person who really cares,
When playing a game called Russian Roulette to Truth or Dare,
When days turn into weeks,
Weeks Turns into Months
Hundreds of People Willing To Pay You A Million Dollars,
Don't have time to fix the Shirt Collars,
Knowing The Difference Between Love, Lust + Hate Came At A Cost in Valentines Day,
Lost My Arms, Legs & A Hefty Bill on Ebay,
Don't have time to date,
Arrange Marriage Into Baron's Daughter in 1994,
All 5 Divorce Looting My Banks, Houses & A Mini Store,
Best Thing That It Happened To Me & Myself,
All Of Them Got Robbed & Now Stacking in Asda's Shelves,
It is True That No Amount of Money Can Buy You A Woman's Love,
We Are Talking About A Hypothetical Mystical Magic Love Dove,
Cindarella's & Gentlemen's - Today Should Be The Best Time Of Your Entire Life,
With Both Hands Cutting A Cake With A Sharp Knife,
For All The Valentines Day I Missed,
I Will Think That You All Kept Me Alive + Well With Your Mere Kisses 💋
A Poetry By Damien Roj(OBE,Padma Siri)
For one thing, you do not wish to conform to previous admonitions from the manner in which you sprinkle your lines with CAPITALS (I wonder why?), for another you are always carping about the loss of enormous sums in poems about other considerations. Not that this is forbidden in poetry but that you don't clearly make a case out for this outcry. Yet, quite frankly, I may be abysmally wrong here for judging by what passes for poetry on the NET, anything is permissible: in other words, one can flush the toilet of one's mind, soul and heart and get congratulated for the end-product - again judging by the commentaries by other "tonitruant" poets, of course!!!
Apart from re-writing your poem in lisible form and style, I don't see how my comments could serve to guide you in your desire to flourish as a gloriously accepted inner-circle DEN-Poet, a genre of a very special teint, indeed!!
As for the billions of £s you spent or lost, let me confide in you that I knew someone (a former Oxford "Blue') who didn't even spend a penny to get a KCMG (Knight Commander of the British Empire). I'm not trying to pull your leg here. Really true!
Your willingness to include a "Mother-Mary" painting here with the poem on Valentine-love is more than enough to win you a front seat in this patently Holy site. I wouldn't advise you to add any other decoration to your poems from no won. What else can I say?
You see I'm not the best person to be invited to make comments on yours or anybody else's poems.
Every good wish. No offence meant. Wignesan
