In His hand God held a palette
With all the colors of the rainbow
As He thought about the colors
That each of His creations should have

There were different shades of blue
To brighten up the sky and silky
White for the clouds that floated by
.
Crystals of diamonds were used
As He sprinkled the stars up high
So that they would all twinkle
When the day turned to night
.
He painted the grass and the trees
With only a thought how it should be
He wanted to make a haven a love
To brighten the lives of you and me
.
Birds and butterflies to bring us joy
Magnificent colors of flowers He
Played in the fields all around
He even took the time to paint the ground
.
Oceans and seas of blue and bright green
White roaring waves reaching for the land
Leaving seashells since time began
.
If you look carefully you can see
All of the treasures He left for us
To make our lives happy and carefree
.
Rejoice and thank Him each day that you live
For all that He so lovingly gave us to enjoy
Every men and women, girl and boy
