A Calling

I believe that each of us has
A calling that we feel inside
Things happen in life that help
What we want to do with the rest of our lives
.
I have deep feelings for those in pain
I want to help them get better
Their lives and happiness to regain
A chance to open doors they did not
Know they could go through
.
Take a child out of abuse and pain
Giving them hope once again
A chance to lead a happy and normal life
One full of good things and no strife
That is where I have devoted my life
.
Sometimes I win and sometimes I lose
But I will never give up…because I believe
The winning is the important thing
To help another person to feel human again
