Wonderful tribute to your friend. They become family members since my dog passed of 11 years i refrain from another pet for all the pain it would cost.

Seems to me we are all on some kind of pet-page at the moment. This is beautiful and I'm sure your friends will treasure this homage to their dear departed friend. I think animals have the ability to bring out our deepest expressions of feeling because they absorb everything without ever having an agenda of their own, have no pride or self-awareness, and have only love and loyalty to give. Being the centre of any home, I dread to think what happens when the lynchpin of their life is taken away... leaving a gaping hole indeed. Sensitive and tender portrayal, Sherry. TY Kate xx

Man's best friend is Dog.
"Dog," when spelled backwards, is "God."
What better tribute?

This is a haiku I once wrote for a friend's dog. Dogs love us despite ourselves. They are loyal, trustworthy, and wonderful companions. You've penned a beautiful tribute to Loopy. :) Well done!

Loopy sounds like a marvelous furry friend, Sherry, and you have written a marvelous tribute to her which I'm sure your friends will appreciate for a very long time. Dogs truly are magnificent creatures, and I truly wish they could live longer. It often seems like a cruel aspect of life to me that man's best friend has such a smaller life span than man.

Sherry, Now I'm crying! They are part of our families..we nurse them, they nurse us, we love them, they love us. They are most assuredly more loyal than any human ever thought of being, and they speak to us, through their actions.
I've lost animals that I grieved for deeper than some humans I've known.
I know your friends are grateful to you for this wonderful tribute to their Loopy.

A labby, I just love them, just had to have mine put down, I told her she'll be greated by St fransis, and see all the other pets we had.
Then I closed her eyes. First time seen my dad cry..

I had to do the same a while back, and called it animal angels, was for a young lad.

If pets don't go to heaven, then it would be kinda boring..

Oh Sherry I am so sorry for your Loopy being called Home. She and Scamper went paw in paw up to live with Jesus freely to romp and play on the soft billowy clouds. Such a Beautiful Lovely and Loving tribute to Loopy.
