The openess before the subject person in this poem, provides the opportunity to circumvent the damn thing. If there is a hole, it has a rim, and travel along the rim is recommended until one finds the way, and a reason, to leave that path and walk on another. You've given your readers a lot of salty meat to chew, but as a late comer to the reading of it, I say, from what I know of you to date, this ain't the girl I hear from and about freqquently; the encouraging one for the rest of us. Good morning sis, and this is such a true poem. It seems we are all guilty of falling into the chasm of life, and that we want more, more, more. If people would take the time to walk in the park leisurely, and listen to the birds, and look at the beautiful flowers, and all that they are. Smell the fresh air, and just be happy that you are alive, this would be a very wonderful world.
