Wise choice you made coming out to stain those wheel spokes...trail is overrun with those silver-gray-pepper arrogant beards whipping the blind dust with their brethren of conformity...but the witches are nipping at their heels...and the frontier sages are nipping whiskey rich in mind on the silver dollar intaglio with the olive branch...collector's story...what rhymes with amuck!
I am not a lover of conflict and take steps to avoid it where I can. However, as your fine lines demonstrate above, it is only natural to vent our frustrations and maybe we should just let it all hang out, in the way that these howlers do?? And I just love that way that Nature endows species with "warning signals" - perhaps that is the trouble with us humans... in that with out sophisticated social mores and "manners" systems we have suppressed genuine feeling to our detriment, such that it vents unnaturally when the pressures get too great... wonderful, thought-provoking write.
