Siiting before the Computer
I am pressing the Key Board
Eucolyptus trees have come out of my Eyes
Banyan trees are born from my ears
encompassing with its large roots and branches
Out of monitor, the reptiles like in Mesozoic times are coming out
With confusion, I am seeing my computer as a
different planet which is inhabited by allien animals
Computer has become a mystary to me
Through my fingers the mouse like dinosaur eating away all words and pictures
The CPU is like a new planet for me
like a womb , it is keeping all secrets of the
chip's evolution
I am entering into a computer age competing with human intelligence
While thousands of souls are talking to me
I have been roaming in Internet
and fighting like a soldier in the war zone
e_mails are forming as noose around my neck
and I am dying with suffocation
In the process of life and death
computer is literally commanding my survival
my brain bursting out and
it is haunting me like a UFO
Running mad - like a GODJILLA !
Shouting out - like a DRACULA !!
This is a fiction about a computer. how an average man is feeling about it. This is transalation of my telugu poem ( not literally) written in 2000.
Great thought-provoking poem. Yes, many of us feel like this. Computer and games took over the reality of lives.....but what's reality?????
Have you seen the movie "MATRIX" BY Keanu Reeves? It was really amazing, the best movie I had ever seen for a long time. If you have not seen it then you should.
It talks about people living inside a computer, and when they've done something wrong, they will be sent outside to live in reality. Somehow Keanu Reeves, being a hacker, invaded the enemy - the side that control humanity, and he was being sought. The gun fights in the movie was totally awesome, I can watch this movie again and again and again and never gets tired of this. This movie is in the video now, you can either buy it or rent it. This movie is soooooo cooooool!!!!!!!!
