Memories of Love

This is a poem of an older woman remembering when she and her husband were young.
Was long ago yet seems like yesterday He whispered the words of love and held me as if I it was for eternity We danced as if we were on a cloud The music consumed our hearts Two hearts beating as one Twirling across the floor Oh yes I remember Was like our souls united as we embraced and kissed Yes it was long ago But thirty years later this memory is still living and our love is stronger now than it was in my memories

When we truly give ourselves to another in shared love, it's an all-consuming "forever" emotion. Our lover may abandon us or even die, but our love remains. Your "Memories of Love" is vibrant and alive because your love is vibrant and alive, even in the memory of thirty years ago.

Love is a life-changing gift from God.
