Family Tithes

This silliness is from a workshop exercise, and also from a friend's comment that I seem mysteriously garbed in (for starters) two things, the what-do-you-call-it/them --- those staples of one's wardrobe, without which one cannot leave home, or even stay at home?

                                   Family Tithes

Hello again, Guilt --

so nice to have you ravish me again

this time over non-fair-traded, non-organic,

pesticide-laced, non-shade-grown coffee

with milk from a hormone-force-fed

factory-farmed non-free-range cow.

Hell, it was blizzarding.

I know, enough of excuses.

But anyway, so nice of you to drop in so frequently, like today,

when at the first nanosecond of Spring,

I plucked a single cherry blossom which,

yes, will die.

Big G: how I adore you:

so ever vigilant and slavishly attentive,

just like your deliciously cloying first-cousin, Blame.

I don't know how I missed this, Julie, but I'm kicking hell out
of myself. It's a marvel, you're a marvel. You write well too.
There's a lot of that Big G going around. -gene.

WOW: undone by the power, the truth in these lines: generational curses, passed down through the ages. Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

"Family Tithes" is a mind's striking and stimulator. Outstanding work.

Omega Factor by John Henning

Take some time to walk outside of your own mind and into another, walk slowly and carefully; the mind that you step on might be your own.
