He's sitting next to me,
He keeps looking at the ground.
Awkward silence,
Floating around.

I try to start a conversation,
But it goes nowhere.
Does he really like me?
Does he really care?

Maybe he's going to dump me,
He's going toss me away.
He doesn't like me at all!
Then he said he had something to say.

"I may sound funny
Asking this,
But do you think,
That we could kiss?"

Nerves kicked in,
What should I say?
If I say yes will he say he was joking?
I couldn't go to school one more day!

I told him "ok,"
and he started to lean in,
I closed my eyes,
And as well I leaned in.

Our lips touched,
And we pulled apart.
That was easy,
Why did I worry my poor heart?

I am so happy,
To have experiencd this.
I'll always remember,
My first kiss.

The reason this is under literary FICTION, is because that's not exactly how my first kiss happened, but this is cuter.
