Grab your knickers, you're about to go on one hellish ride . . .

Poem Artwork

Giving up on love, I'm tired of playing the game

Especially after that online thing called dating

Beware - especially of the ones who fall for you

immediately, and use a lot of "hmmmmmmm's"

Ain't no hymnal, but rather the song of the siren

Sung as she sits upon the rocks, luring her next

victim in wearing a shit-eating grin; lures you in

with promises of offering you the moon and stars

but not here lover, no, try the afterlife as she stabs

you in the heart, then tosses you in the brine

You know - a salt and water solution for pickling

And to make sure that you sink to the bottom to

join all the rest of her victims, she becomes a fish

in the water; also known as a torpedo; this way

she insures you sink to the bottom to join all the

rest that were succumbed by her non-moral

excellence; now you get to lay there in a listless

state why she decides where to vacation - "Let's

see now, will it be the beaches in Nigeria, or the

Salt Mines in Siberia?" My heart bleeds for her

quite literally . . .

Lance,
This one is a bad condition.
