In a dive in Toledo, across from a tire depot

On a barstool it took off its valve stem

Turned me on - thought I'd get a closer look

So I sashayed on over, penny loafers and all

I sat down and asked its name

But all it did was hiss at me.

I then said, "I'm no quitter

I'm hungry for adventure

In wat evr comes my way!"

As I stood in front of a mirror

Adjusting my toupee

I closely watched it

Thought it looked outta place

It had a strange look about it

For a New York minute

I thought it looked kinda flat

(It dummy, not my toupee)!

But none the less

Got it on my semi-diesel truck

Even though my hands were a little callous

And then headed out onto the highway

But then my rig started shaking

My heart started palpating

I looked out my window

And saw it coming apart.

Then I starting singing

"You picked a fine time to leave me LooseWheel

Illegal Mexicans in the back

And now they probably won't get to work in the fields

They've had some bad times

Lived thru some sad times

But this time the INS is gonna put a hurtin' on me

And now that you've left me, I'll be doin' time!"
