Occurs primarily in Africa and India
Symptoms include irritability, runny
stick-your-nose-in somebody else's
business, thick-skinned-ness where
sticks and stones will not break any
bones, but still managed to get itself
on the endangered species list; and
someday the only place you'll ever
see them will be stuffed and on
permanent display in some cities
museum; to whom curators won't
even dust, and of course the rhinos
will be hornless, as their adornments
will have wound-up in soup, or to help
someone else get 'horny'; but who the
hell really cares; especially nature's
true king of beasts, the elephant, for
there won't be anymore bickering at
the old watering hole; yeah right, for
we all know that the only place you'll
see the old pachyderms will be in
some jewelry store window on the
main drag in a city's downtown window.
So, the next time you pick-up a little cold,
quit your whining, and don't blame the
perissodactyl mammal for your symptoms
commonly referred to as the Rhino Virus!
Love your unique take on such topics!
Captivating poem!;-)
Love not whiny,;-)

Still Living on my Feet is the follow up to Tichaona Chinyelu’s first book, In the Whirlwind, which was rooted in a sense of hard-hitting revolutionary black love. However, in this sophomore effort, Tichaona brings the revolutionary essence from deep
