Poem Artwork

There's only one
Thing that I lack.
My mind ain't sharper
Than a tack.

My memory just
Has gone kaput.
It keeps on filling
Up with soot.

I lost some details
'long the way
And can't tell March
From early May.

Alas, I'll have to
Now admit
I am no longer
Tough and fit.

However, there's
No need to cry
My sad thoughts
Also went "by-by."

Life's cool.

i just reached the 58th year this morning and i am glad to say the bad things are the first things i have noticed that i've forgotten with age, or maybe they are just blunted by the years

lololol- i love this! My memory is gone, too, and when you get down to it, you do remember the moment, the now, and that is all we really have anyway.

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.

Sunrise of Thought by Bruce Humphrey

Welcome! The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help. Beautif
