Do you hear it?
The earth is singing again,
Lovely songs that it learned so long ago,
The rain falling on the trees,
Making the leaves blow softly,
They sway in sweet ecstasy,
Dancing in the wind…
Even the snow sings,
Though it is a cold and empty song,
Its sweet sorrow touching your soul,
With the beauty of it’s icy heart…
Autumn too sings her verses,
In soft and muted tones,
Soothing the soul,
With lovely tones,
That echo softly in your bones…
Summer flays you raw,
With it’s burning rays,
And clear skies that go on forever,
Blazing proudly as it beats a fever,
Into your heart…
But Spring…
Spring sings,
In a loud and clear voice,
Vibrant and alive,
Reaching every heart,
With the joy of being alive…
You see it all around you,
Thin lips once cold and grim,
Now relax and smile again,
I hope Spring makes you smile too…
It will you know,
If you will just stop a minute,
And listen…

Now this is my absolute favorite!(lol) So many of yours are but this one speaks to me so deeply. I love the way you go from season to season finding beauty in each one. Alas, spring is the maiden now isn't she? Meditative and alluring...Brillant!

Leaves me with thoughts of a lonely world before any creatures existed, then sit back and meditate at the world from a one day visitors view. This one sure is for keeps. One of my fav's...
