Retta,
Your words always touch my soul, where only peace is allowed. There's something about old bridges and fine wines that are always unique to me.
Beauty lives in your words.
Most beautiful poetry...and the mystery behind it we will never know huh?
Splendid!!

You have a tendency of not posting all that often, so it is with great anticipation whenever I see your name announcing that you have one for us/me/them. I am NEVER disappointed and this one dissapointed me even less. I don't know what kind of competition you are up against in the contest, but it will have to be fantastic for you not to win, hands down. One line: "I had disturbed something," IS the poem.
Yes. Well Retta; I think the bridge is a symbol of much. Oddly, it looks much like one that my father built once. This is a connection to much more than meets the "eye." Thank you for sharing this. Love and peace to you. Regis
Oh Reindeer, this is so deep and moving. I would say that you aced the challenge, my friend...and yes, sometimes we all need a guide. Beautiful poem.
Take care,
Sherry

WOW! Retta
You awe me with this magnificent piece
Once you place your words onto the scene
It becomes so clear, yet it's not there.
