Eternally Bound

Sadness,
A weariness that pierces the bone,
Catharsis,
I bleed away the pain,
Try to keep from going insane…

Sorrow deep in the marrow of my bones,
Like the ring on my finger,
I am eternally bound…

Your whispers wash over me,
And the shadow of the moon
Covers me in sweet darkness,
I sink into the softness of the night,

Melancholy afflicts me,
And I see rainbows in the sea,
Unsettling waves turns them to rings,
Floating gently on the sea,
Like me,
Like me…

The beautiful colors of the rainbow are a reflection of sunbeams through droplets of rain... like a smile sparkling through tears. After this darkened sky - even if it has inspired an exquisite poem - a glorious rainbow is what I wish for you, dearest Reindeer.

WOW...your darkness is something! Ok, so what part of your soul did you carve this from? Just ---sounds so love/hate and damned if you do...damned if you don't. Your verse is quite captivating!

Thanks,
Teresa Emilie
