I know they say forgive and forget

And the forgiving is always real

But it's losing all of those old regrets

That really tests how you realize you feel.

I never asked to belong

And I never Icried at goodbies.

I knew I would always be wrong

If I tried to be perfect in your eyes.

I wonder if you ever see me?

I wonder if you know I'm there?

I wonder when I hide my emotions that you can read me,

But are just too frightened to care.

I realize now, More clear than before,

Sometimes you need to smile and deal.

That people are human right down to the core

And you can't make someone love you against their own will.

But know that I will be there,

When at last you change your mind.

And I'll be there with open arms

When you can leave the part behind.......
