To live to love in harmony
Enriched but not much more
To use to fill to give away
That’s what things are for;
To enjoy to share to always care
To protect the Earth’s rare gifts
To leave a footprint very small
As mood and seasons shift.

There’s more to see entirely free
Than all the wealth can buy
What’s more it’s meant for you and me
You’ll find it if you try;
Who can buy your feelings
Invoked by starry nights
When lovers kiss in shadow’s bliss
Amidst those priceless bites?

They say you can’t afford it
If you must ask to know the price
So never ask to know what freedom costs
It’s in the sacrifice;
The one with endless piles of money
Secures his beck and call—but
The one who has the smallest need
Is the richest of us all.
