Thirty Years



Could I be with you
thirty years from now?
When all the dust has cleared
from this earthly life?

Will you let me walk the halls
in the house of silver smoke?
Will you let me feel the egape
in every part of all I am in you?

Will you prepare me a mansion
on streets of Gold and not forsake my love for you?
Will your majestic voice reach all around
and sing with me on holy ground?

Please remind me of these things to be
and let me live eternally.

This earthly life I am but a man
still searching for the promised land.
I stumble and fall in all my sin
and pick myself up over and over again.

I come to you and plead for grace.
I offer you undying faith.
Calvary was freedoms day,
when all my sins were washed away.

These things happened, I know
over two thousand years ago.
It took so long for me to see
how you have waited patiently.

For all the things I have yet to see
I beg of you Grace for me.

A sinners prayer in a test of faith,
if thirty years will come to pass.
