Once while walking with my doctoral professor, a man of many talents, he asked me, "What does algorithm mean?"
When he funded a monograph that I wrote on, Artificial Intelligence (1973), he persuaded me to change the title, "Intelligence is not artificial." We changed it to: Intelligence and the Machine.
