TOUCHED BY GOD’S FINGER
Did I sleep well with peace and contentment?
Who watched over me as I rested from this world of trouble?
When the time came for me to awaken, who do I give praise?
You dear Father in Heaven for I have been touched by GOD’S finger.
Who gave me the strength to get to my feet?
I was touched by GOD’S finger
Did I say thank you Lord for waking me and letting me live a little longer?
I should have praised you for giving me breath and why is this so?
I have been touched by GOD’S finger.
Everything I have has come from you dear GOD.
I am always rushing here and running there and taking little time
to give you attention
YOU, first of all I should rush to in prayer
Because for me you’ve always been there
Now I understand why I’ve got tears in my eyes
I’ve been touched by GOD’S finger.
Father in Heaven, I thank you for being so good to me a sinner
Please Lord forgive me for I do love you
Please correct my wayward heart and help me to obey and love
For you are wonderful by letting me know
That I’ve been touched by GOD’S finger.
