I get the point you are making. Dedication or loyalty can be hammered into brains through repetition of chants, songs, Scripture or slogans. Repetition simplifies life and makes it easy to make decisions, even if they are wrong. Becoming dedicated usually makes one's mind, brain and thinking mush.
