Talking, laughing, joking... looks of envy burning deep inside. Masks of joy and happiness... so easy to wear, yet difficult to remove. Caring, loving, devoted... words of commendation crushing down. Masks of loyalty, faithfulness... placed gently on my face for all to see. So many masks, one on top of another. So many faces port raid. Layered thicker and thicker... covering a face that once was. Pulling, tugging, ripping... at never ending layers. Trying to find the face buried beneath. Trying to find me. copy write 4.15.2004
