The scepter to your crown

Poem Artwork

As I open my eye to see
all around me there is dark.
Amidst the dark little specks
of light, trying to break through.
Sealed over and over again,
as dark reigns over the sight.

I sense you trying to reach in,
little flashes of your face,
your hair, appears here and there
Your touch on my skin,
trying to draw me in,
to hold, to have.

Next I see you appear,
by your side a crescent moon.
Velvet and lace, in your embrace,
face shifting, hair black, blonde.
But you stay the same,
an aura that radiates blue,
a magnificent, powerful hue.

In a blink there I am
next to you, purple silk
in flowing gown,
the scepter to your crown.

And the world turns to bright silver
as I lay in your arms.
Afloat in the ethereal world,
smooth, velvety light,
so pleasant the flight
of the subconscious.

Yes, the subconscious bring about the most beautiful of dreams. So glad you have left the dark behind as your poem suggests.

What a lovely bride you made. it's all in that fabulous smile.
