Poem Artwork

I suppose I had no choice to begin with

I was always going to fall for you

The days and nights of my life was never mine

they belonged to you and me in synchronicity

Or maybe the fates aren't playing tricks on me

In fact it is you that has put a spell on me

Bent over mortar, cauldron and black grimoire

you simply took the spell a bit to far

An extra pinch here, another toad leg there

and Poof!! We ended up here

Drawn by some strange magnetic force

and here I am undeniably yours

A victim of my treacherous heart

That seems to have been yours from the start

Particularly when we are young, there is, sometimes that undeniable attraction that occurs between 2 people that may or may not last a lifetime. Your poem speaks well of that occurrence. Consider yourself lucky.
