Snow

Winter is coming, it's gotten so cold,
Look out the window, it's begun to snow.

Blanketing the ground so pure and white,
This time of year is a childs delight.

Bundle the kids up to go outside,
Get out the sleds, it's time to ride.

Build a snowman six foot tall,
Pack it good, we don't want it to fall.

Find some rocks for his buttons and eyes,
A carrot for his nose will be just fine.

Warm up the house with the fireplace aglow,
It's time for the kids to come in from the snow.

Dry them off and get them fed,
A cup of hot chocolate before going to bed.

Tucked in their beds so warm and sereen,
Turn off the lights, good night and sweet dreams.
