To watch a Penguin gracefully fly,
or see an Eagle swim.
To hear that babies never cry,
to see the sunlight dim.

To read a book that has no words,
and hear a quiet storm.
To witness flying featherless birds,
Find ice, to keep them warm.

To hear a large bell's silent peal,
or hear the devil pray.
That politicians words are real,
No matter what they say.

To drink red wine all day long,
never to get drunk.
To laugh whenever things go wrong,
and smell a perfumed skunk.

Where orchids grow in Arctic waste,
a rose in desert sand
To find a hooker pure and chaste,
a waist that can’t expand.

To see a whale eating trees,
or elephants under waves.
To eat eggs, freshly laid by bees,
a miser never saves.

To fight a peace instead of war
Shoot bullets made from cream.
Give rich men’s wages to the poor,
and hear a python scream

If truths like these we could arrange,
or such a world, gods give.
It simply could not be as strange
as the one in which we live.
