He Heard My Cries
As I lay in the hospital bed, in isolation from my family
He heard my cries
Oh Lord, rescue me from the brink of death
He sent Angels to my bedside
He heard my cries
The clots in my lungs, by his grace did no damage to my heart
He heard my cries
The enemy tried to take me out before my time
He heard my cries
By his grace and mercy, I am well and alive!
He heard my cries

A surgeon opened my chest and physically removed what was on my right lung preventing me from breathing. Probably a fungus. I recovered very quickly without needing any oxygen in ICU and am now breathing normally eight years after.
At no point did I feel that I was in a "near death," situation. At no point did I call on some superior being to help me. My blood clot dissolved naturally, and my pneumonia was removed by the skill of a human being with knowledge of such things and the courage to cut me open to do it.

I enjoyed this short homily wishing it had more longevity in lieu of brevity...but no matter the length it soothed my soul. I say to you, Nicole continue to let the literary cadre heare more of what you have in your heart...you'd never know who benefits!
