What is a victim! Someone affected by another in such a way as to leave, mental, emotional, and physical effects.

Poem Artwork

Over and over

thoughts remain

distorting the now

in so many ways,

creating perceptions

once so true

deceiving intentions

in everything you do.

Everything falls apart

at a thoughts incursion

you are the victim

with no ryhme or reason.

Days you may cry

no reason why

forever seeking answers

never any replies,

thoughts falling over

amid sigh upon sigh

as your heart keeps yelling

why

why

why.

Perceptions are perceptions! Truth is fact! Let us teach good character and not repeat the same useless garbage over and over again. Well done John! Amen!

Knowledge and a good crap detector will keep one from becoming a victim. However, the elderly, often lose that edge that helped them succeed over time, and fall victim because they can no longer deal with the complex city of their lives.

As a side note. I wish the media would quit calling victims, "Heroes." Repeatedly doing that devalues the value of real heroism.
