I really liked the flow of this and its simple storyline. It is questions like this that result in people believing in spiritual and mythical things to try to describe what they thought they saw or heard. Whether internal to the brain or an external in the environment, these quickly passing phenomena often have very simple explanation. Unfortunately, our fears and anxieties about things we don't know tend to turn these simple occurrences into something mystical or mythical that tends to grow if oft repeated in time.
