Backbiting Is Cruel

Backbiting is an evil poisonous venom

being injurious and leaving people numb

Angry words sprue out with malicious intent

cruel speech that cause many to lament

An evil heart bringeth forth that which is evil

with bitterness raging and causing an upheaval

A bitter spirit springs forth through the tongue

The words uttered having a stench like dung

If you ever hear a backbiter, run for your life

steering clear away from the hatred and strife

Be on guard that your mind is not polluted

meditating on God's Word so your faith be not diluted

Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
