He challenged the bigotry of our time…
his faithful presence, now…a resting chime.
A man, so human, still…albeit, he did deride
vicious inequalities, that yet…illicit sighs.
With a grandeur, smooth…filled with relevance
he bolstered a formula of undeterred prevalence.
And his strength was revealed with marked recognition
when he painted indelible colors of rainbow coalition.
None, can ever diminish his remarkable sow
for all who knew of him, well know…
With intent, his life fostered…peace…not as a ration

It is unfortunate that his rainbow coalition that he tried so hard to form from those of us who won everyone to be on equal standing in this world, has been taken over by a smaller sector of our society.
