OF A GOOD PERSON IS ORDERED BY GOD

However far away or measured the good person's
steps are ordered by God. God has spoken. He
is speaking. He will continue to speak. A good
God orders the steps of a good person. During
Creation, at the end of each day, God said, "And
it was good." God is, was, and will always be the
Totality of All Good. Every person, made in His
likeness was made good and is ordered to be, do
and have good.

John Wesley states God's ordering of a good
person's steps in this manner:
     Do all the good you can
     In all the ways you can
     In all the places you can
     At all the times you can
     To all the people you can
     As long as ever you can.

It is God's will and divine purpose for every
person to be, do and have good. Listening
to God is the first thing a person has to do
in order to step as ordered by God. Therefore,
it is imporant for a person to listen to God.
That means a person has to learn to be silent.
Many, if not most people, have not learned to
be silent.

Sometimes God speaks in a "small and still
voice." Surrounded and engulfed by the noises
of the world it is easy, at times,  to not hear the
voice of God. There are times, however, as the
African American Spiritual declares, when
"He calls me by the thunder." Loving God,
a person will know the voice of God and what
he is orderd by Him to do.

Life is a journey on which a person advances
toward his destiny, not by leaps and bounds,
but step by step. A person does not step alone
when he steps by the ordering by God. God
steps with him. And when his load gets too
heavy or the gulf too wide, he can fall on
God who picks him up and carries him so
he can continue to step as ordered and with
Him.

A person knows that he is stepping as ordered
by God when he walks with God. The good news:
Sweet is the journey when walking with God.
Keep stepping as ordered by God. Selah.
