On this Christmas Day
There is so much joy and so much love flying in the air…
There are so many words that I would like to say
To fill your heart with peace, to take your pain away.
And some magical way to bring the stars into your eyes,
Light up the candles everywhere…
Unwrap your childish smile, and run my fingers through your hair,
To steal a kiss under the mistletoe, and hug you like a teddy bear.
There are so many things that I would like to do
To change your mood from grayish blue to a golden sunshine ray,
So you can find the happiness and health
for which you dreamed and prayed…
There are so many melting snowflake whispers
And so many gentle thoughts I nurtured and I saved
For this Christmas Day to keep you warm
That I never dared to share …
There are so many dreams I wrapped so nicely
And placed them under my Christmas tree,
To gift away … especially to you
But I didn’t dare…
Because … I was so scared …
To tell how much I Love and Care…
