This is truly a wretched pain, and I feel for you. The road ahead may be bumpy, but you've got to believe in yourself. You're worth the effort.

There are painful moments now and many here will feel the pain of this and remember their own moments. Being able to share and express even the simple parts that one can say is the beginning of healing for many who have been negelected by their parents. My own heart aches for you and my arms as a father and grandfather reach out across the cyber miles to give you a hug. I will not try and make up excuses for your Mother but it is she that has lost the most for you will be someone to be proud of and your heart will be one that will give love instead of thrashing it.
