Gray Days

solemn days of gray; things becoming brighter with each positive thought; seeing the light of living life right

All life seems gray; not saying there won't be another day
Some days there're blue skies; but, gray days invades anyway
Shadows sometime prevails; always on our trails; forgotten mail
Living in our own jails; hidden veils; smothered wails; to no avail

Life is gray when a loved one goes away; being led astray; betrayed
by the ones we love or an unknown face; that has caused disgrace
That's part of societies human race; something we have to embrace
even though it may cause distaste; sometimes due to unsavory abuse
that puts us in a displaced shade of gray

We see gray days when we're faced with sickness; mental anguish causes
us to languish in our own misery; full of mysteries to unfold; taking
control of our ability to see thru what is making life gray; once we
see the light it'll all be a brand new day; chasing away abashed gray

Gray walls overshadow us all; coming from under this gray takes a
strong willpower to regain ahold of our life: in order to abstain from
the mundane gray; as we ascertain a way to follow our hearts to
attain a better way; we don't have to live life feeling gray; God will
make a way all we have to do is pray and all our gray will go away

I'm no longer feeling gray; I've prayed for a better way of living life;
he has given life and he can take it away; we face trial & tribulations
that he throws our way everyday; It's God's way or the highway

GRAY DAYS COMES TO US ALL...AS YOU SAID,AND WE ARE ABLE TO APPRECIATE OUR DELIVERANCE SO MUCH MORE WHEN WE PASS 'THROUGH' THE GRAY. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A LITTLE DIMNESS TO MAKE US APPRECIATE THE BRIGHT. FOR AS THE WORD SAYS...HE GIVES US BEAUTY FOR ASHES(IS 61:3).
