Look up to me, I’ll show you my wonder

Gone is the day with lightning and thunder

I’m no longer angry, I no longer roar

Away with the clouds to a far distant shore

Again I’m at peace, calm and with grace

The moon in the corner, a smile on his face

A time for reflection, a time to think

The stars twinkle brightly, they’ll give you a wink

Lined up quite random, an image? A form?

Imagination runs wild, inside you feel warm

A time to ponder, are we alone?

You feel so small under my expansive dome

Inside you’re relaxing, your pulse has stopped racing

Across me you glimpse a shooter who’s chasing

Around you is silent with nature at rest

The end of the day is when you feel best

You’re never alone, there’s no need to cry

Look up to me, I am the Night Sky
