There you were like a world class chef,
With a delicious looking cake,
While poisonous ingredients,
Was what you used, to bake.
The facade maintained with excellence,
Not even an expert could see it was fake,
Painting love in soft pink clouds,
While luring in the bush, like a snake.
A terrific tactic well developed,
You managed to persuade,
Oh yes you were the ace,
At all the games you played.
A sweet smell of empty promises,
A labyrinth of lies for your trade,
The golden castle you painted,
Was a cell in your house of spade.
You studied well to gain control,
Just making sure I stayed,
All to your advantage,
Along with a mental blockade
Viciously calculating,
Placing the razor blade,
Oh no, you were no fool alright,
You knew I was afraid.
And never in your wildest dreams,
Would I be able to evade,
But my strength you underestimated,
And Truth will be displayed.
Yes, I’ll stand tall as your cover fade,
No, I won’t sit down until you’ve paid,
Paid for the nightmares that you have made,
And all of those traps that you had laid.

is autobiographical, add my congratulations to those below {and those I am sure are to come}. Snakes-in-the-grass are hard to get rid of. Bite can be fatal, and they're too fast. Slither into your life. . .how scary can you get? Good job!! 'Pea' <3
