another dark/light

Stand to, O, craven flesh

though the battle has but

one outcome at close of day.

Stand to, it matters not that

that end comes this day

or many days hence, the end

is the same, stand to

and meet your end with

fire and the passion

of wisened old age.

Stand to, O, craven flesh;

if death is all that they can

throw at us then they have

already lost for death

comes to all in the end.

Stand to, O, craven flesh …

Decree of Oath Death be Damned. We've got to rise up and meet our enemies daily to have lived, John. Defending our honor and of those we love and regard hightly means fighting to the end, this also means fighting disease and illness. Without the warrior spirit, we're doomed...a good oath to decoupauge on an old piece of wood and varnish to hang on your wall as a reminder...be well...Blessed Be

Love,
Sage
