When Nanny Comes to Stay

The children have a lovely time when Nanny comes to stay

They really are excited to have her there to play

now when she comes, and this is true

Some extra people, they come too.

She comes by car, she comes by train, she comes inside an airoplane.

And every time she comes to stay; the Noisy People hide away.

Beside her seat and in her case, they always seem to find a place.

On her arms, in her hair, extra people everywhere.

As soon as she is in the door those noisy people hit the floor

They run around and round and round and never ever  make a sound-

Then suddenly uh oh! They’re here.

Their voices come through loud and clear.

They start off soft and then they shout

Hurray for Nan, they yell it out.

They laugh and clap and shout with glee and Nanny cries "They followed me."

Now you must wonder, how can this be, it only happens you must see-

When Nanny and the children play, the Noisy People come and stay

Oh laughing loud they make whoopee---the noisy people are set free Yes-------When Nanny and the children play the noisy people come and stay. ©hjv
