Smooth, long strokes glide along my tense
body wash; over pressure points with ease
releases stresses of the day,
angel flutters whisper up my legs and arms
that sense, full of calm and excitement,
nerve endings implore additional attention;
ocean waves caress my skin, with each
wax and wane, quiet synapses, equilibrium serenely restored,
inducted into an altered state; surreal,
suspended disbelief and nirvana combined
end result, is the wet noodle feeling,
armed with hope to face another day
...what a rush
