If I Could Talk To The Animals

Thinking of her makes me think of her love of birds.........................

Hummingbirds hover over there feeder like helicopters

They are little blue specks of GOD's beautiful handiwork

I sit on my lawn while watching them and gaze at there grace

One of them hovers but two feet away from my lounger

My old brain thinks what if I could communicate with these little specks of creation

I open my heart to GOD with prayer

I ask my Father if I can talk to the birds

I smile as the little blue bird lands on my shoulder

I release the following thought if I can talk to the animals???????

Will they speak to me too

What a wonderful place this is for me to live

Loneliness would be a thing of the past

Tony, if you could talk to the animals they would be blessed by your sweetness! I think the hummingbirds are speaking to you; I bet they are saying "thank you for providing for me." A lovely poem; so expressive.

Oh Tony! This one touched me so very deeply! I LOVE birds and I DO talk to them...When I'm feeding Blue Jays in my backyard, they come right up beside me...and I speak softly to them and I swear they understand....When you can revere nature...the world as it should be opens up before you....well done, my friend!!!!

They answer in their own way, Tony,
by coming close to you - "hovers
but two feet away..." - they are not afraid,
you're not a threat, you're a friend.
