I like the abstract jaunt of this poem, Andy. It has a feeling of flight and colossal motion, of sound. With these lines being so short, even the form of this poem has velocity, and I really like “Dawn wakes her son/The son sees the sea” — those are two curious and uniquely-written happenings…so succinct, so effective. ~~ djl
