Tis but a dream to run from pain,
Free from the day, - so cold, familiar!
We wake in agony from the one's we couldn't touch,
To but dream of love,
A place where I could breath an endless ocean!
I swear by god if I don't sleep,
If I be waked again,
Tis but a curse, - a punishment,
To reach the womb and find no land!
I wait...
I pray...
Inside this dream,
In hope of you, -
My Heaven in the morrow.
Banishment, - acquainted be,
Well versed I am - tis common place!
Though when my journey slumbers now,
What was condemned, is now erased;
Please I pray; Don't stir the vision,
Don't wake my love before she's ripe!
I must behold the eyes of fate,
The one who visits me in nights!
I will wait...
I will pray...
Within this dream...
My Heaven in the morrow...

Well versed I am - tis common place!
I find it easy to "lose myself" in your verses, Michelle. I think it is because I relate to what you express. I think you mean to write "breathe" in the third verse of the second stanza. I love the dreamy quality of this write. Dreams are truly wonderful; I would even "say" that they are therapeutic. Thank you for sharing this gift. Love and best wishes,
Regis
