Blazing Heart

Un-subdued, searing blaze,

Without a heart to ignite,

Sustained in displeasure,

This flame of great light;

From my center it summons,

To find sanctuary, -

Free to run and to roam,

To dwell in the hearthstone,- held captive,

To be known as bone is to bone.

Ever I quest in your shadows,

By trails of ushering light,

Followed by flares of desire,

Distinct in their flames of pure white!

Heavy heart occupied and pervaded,

With affection longing to yield, -

A harvest of love in the making,

For a blaze in my heart to be sealed!
