Questions and Answers Within?

I dig deep within myself to look for the truth
The more I dig the farther away I get from the proof
So I look around at the scene about me, but things still seem aloof
Invisible puppets pulling heartfelt strings, magical branches from mystical trees
But there is a deep love somewhere near pulling me closer to thee
Can I trust my heart, my raw emotions, that I cannot see?
I only see her face on a movie screen that races through my head
But strange noises continue from someone who might want me dead
I am not afraid to die, rather afraid to live
To fully commit to that love that electrifies, takes and gives
But what to do, I am truly at a crossroad
I need to make contact, and finally come inside, out of the cold
When I do come face to face with my maker of love
Will it be a death breath enemy of evil and hate that flies above?
Or will it be a flying warm embracing friend of pure peaceful white doves
I only ask for the entire truth may it be good or bad when push comes to shove
Even a few white lies I will take with that heavy burden of a stock
So as the gold second hand ticks closer to twelve on the old wooden grandfather clock
The final countdown is at hand to these questions and answers within the swarming flock
The resulting actions I now leave in the hands of my masters of shock
Or maybe it is only the beginning to these questions and answers that lie across this metal dock
No, the consequences are not yet written nor do I hear the custom knock
Though The Iron Gate door is now finally open, steel bolts unlocked
The only thing left to do is wait for a sign, or signs, and stay strong as a natural granite rock…
