We Are Mars, Mars Is Us!

Nice lady on the radio asks Dear. Mr. President why should we go to Mars?

We should rather look within, and take care of our own home wars!

Exactly, this is why Mars is not only the answer to the question, but the solution.

For starters, it is quite possible we humans came from Mars,

Either we hitched a ride microscopically on an asteroid, or comet from the planet or we saw

That Mars was a dying planet so we seeded the missing link here on Earth creating mankind

Human beings thus were born with all their wonders and faults

But we survived Mars, and had a second chance at life, and there was no halt,

To the great achievements we accomplished,

The Pyramids in Egypt, Stonehenge, the Great Wall in China,

The locomotive, the automobile, the computer, the internet

Abraham Lincoln, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy,

All might not exist if not for that little red neighbor in our cosmos

True, we would not have Napoléon, Hitler, Saddam, or Bin Laden

But we would also not have you!

So you ask again why go to Mars with all the troubles we have here at home?

Quite simple my dear, Mars just might be the missing link to our past,

And also the survival link to our near future if God forbid our planet went down fast

The life of you, your family, friends, and love ones will all be at Mother Nature’s peril

Say an asteroid was headed our way impact New York City that would be the last

Of the Northeast Seaboard, and maybe more devastating worldwide waste

The end of humanity and life on Earth including you

So next time you see that little red planet in the sky, and wonder why, I will too!
