To be adored. Ah the wonderment!
Isn't that what most girls hope for?
What they dream about at night?
I've long since grown out of childish fantasies.
So what do I want?
Patience.
While it may seem dull or unromantic,
such a great virtue is so often overlooked.
Kindness.
To be able to spare a little bit
in this world shows so much about a person.
Humor.
Yes, humor. What a wonderful gift!
To be able to make others laugh.
Devotion.
There's that girlish fantasy!
Oh pine for me young sir! I am your one true love.
Faithfulness.
So closely related to devotion,
but make me believe in that devotion.
Love.
The greastest mortal gift available.
Lust is great, but true love is unquestionably the wonderment of one's existence.
So I know that is a lot to ask
and sometimes difficult to manifest.
Yet, I ask you for it.
You may falter in some things from time to time,
but we are both only human.
You are my love.
You are my heart.
You are my sanity.
You are my gravity to this world.
You are my hopeless romanticism.
You are my favorite soul.
You will be the cause of the greatest pain I will ever know.
For one day I will be alone.
Without you, my hatred will grow.
My sanity will falter, and my heart will cease to beat
For the rhythm of yours keeps mine in tune.
So, take care with me. I love you.
My book of poetry is being redone by me, I have a beautiful cover designed and the book will have a few more than 200 poems in it. I am going to have it printed on demand here in Canada. When it is done I will let you know when it is done and if anyo
